CartoonsForBusiness.com Launch

The official launch of CartoonsForBusiness.com took place on September 3rd 2002. Tanzarine Technology Ltd supplied all the back end processing needed to maintain the extensive collection of cartoons, as well as allowing CFB clients to preview and download them.

An order processing and electronic fulfilment method was also implemented, which allows for payments either by cheque or credit card, with the latter payments made via Netbanx. Unlike many e-commerce web sites, CFB is unusual in that the product is electronic in nature (cartoon images) and as such can be delivered over the Internet as soon as payment has been confirmed.

The basic elements supplied for the site were cartoon search, selection and ordering, member join-up processing, discounted membership processing, special promotions, index maintenance, order management, discount management, and credit card payment processing and online fulfilment.

Once again, Tanzarine worked with long standing business partner Andor Information Technology Ltd on a total solution for CFB, with Andor managing cartoon supply, formatting and upload, as well as the overall design and layout of the site.
